CBHPups: Midterm De-Stressing

On Tuesday, February 22nd, CBHPeers got to de-stress amidst midterms by stopping by the McCombs plaza to pet therapy dogs. Some students stopped in between classes or in between studying, and they got to meet two amazing puppies from Divine Canines, a group of dog lovers who aim to spread puppy love as a source of healing and motivation.

CBHPeers got to meet Nelson and Poppi (not pictured).

Divine Canine describes Nelson as: “Nelson has a heart of gold from the top of his large ears to the tip of his wagging tail. He loves everyone, every dog and can sense other people's emotions. Even friends that I have that don't care for dogs, love Nelson. He is truly a blessing to our family and to others.” And Poppi: “Poppi is full of enthusiasm and energy. She loves people and other animals. She participates in Agility activities, Rally Obedience, Dog Powered Sports, Hiking and Tracking. She brings me so much joy. If Poppi were human, she would say, "What are we going to do today?”

CBHPeers agreed. In a week full of midterms, taking a few minutes out of a stressful day to come play with some cute puppies was an ideal way to take a much-needed break. We were extremely grateful to have the opportunity to meet Nelson, Poppi, and their trainers too :)
