Liam Stemetzki | American Airlines

Meet Liam, a Canfield BHP junior who is double majoring in MIS. If you’ve flown on a plane this summer, there’s a chance Liam played a role in determining your flight schedule through his American Airlines internship. 

Here’s what he had to say: “I’m currently interning in the Network Planning department at American Airlines, where I’m preparing AA’s schedule in Miami. It’s been super interesting to hear about the thousands of decisions that go into making a schedule before a flight boards its first passenger.”

Shreya Komire | Truist

Meet Shreya Komire, a Canfield BHP junior who is double majoring in finance. Over the past few weeks, she’s had the chance to apply the knowledge she’s gained in her business classes during her Truist internship.

Here’s what she had to say: “Currently, I’m spending the summer as a Corporate Finance Summer Analyst at Truist, diving deep into financial modeling and the deal process, and enjoying every moment with my amazing fellow interns!”

Meet Gurpreet Singh, a Canfield BHP sophomore who is double majoring in MIS. After recently completing STA 301H, MIS 301H, and MIS 304, Gurpreet has gained real-world experience in data analytics and information systems during his internship with Ringer Sciences, a data science and analytics consulting firm.

Here’s what he had to say: “I've had the opportunity to work on diverse projects, such as improving C-suite executive visibility, analyzing alumni engagement for a university, and conducting social intelligence analysis for a major credit card issuer. I enjoy analyzing and visualizing multiple data sources and witnessing how my insights contribute to client projects across various industries.”
