McCombs Next Top Talent

Last week, McCombs hosted “The McCombs Next Top Talent,” in which McCombs students came together to celebrate their diverse talents. All proceeds from the events were donated to the winner’s charity of choice.

This event was hosted by HBA’s Cade Foster and Ethan Jones.

“Thank you to everyone that came out to McCombs Top Talent and made it a success. I had so much fun being an MC for the event with Ethan, and the crowd and contestants definitely kept me on my toes. Between the singing, dancing, instruments, and crazy jump roping, there were some performances that still have me blown away. Each contestant managed to be hilarious and then flexed at the same time. I don’t envy the judges for having to pick between them. I learned a lot too, mainly the phone number Soulja sings in Kiss Me Through the Phone. I’d love to be an MC again for the competition and I can’t wait see what fresh blood steps up to compete for charity next year.” -Cade Foster

HBA’s very own Anthony Tang did great and played Post Malone on violin.

“Over the span of three days, I befriended some of the coolest people I’ve ever met. Chris and I bonded over struggling with the dance routine, Andrew and I shared a talent in music, and Jodi!! That girl can dance! And sing!! I think the coolest part of the event was getting to know McCombs people outside of business. MNTT is an event I will continue to look forward to every year, and I can’t wait to meet more studs and witness their talents next year!” -Anthony Tang

The winner of McCombs Next Top Talent was Jeffery Sun, who came out on stage in a Baymax costume and did a dance routine to Billie Eilish. A donation was made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported all the contestants!
