DWAP: Greta Fenley
Students enjoyed unusually exotic sandwiches at Noble Sandwich Co. with BA 101H Professor and BHP Career Adviser, Greta Fenley, this past Monday night. Although the sandwiches were great, the best part of the evening was definitely the valuable advice that Greta gave the students concerning their search for careers based on her own experiences and those of past students.
The top takeaway from the evening was Greta's expressed confidence that students can achieve whatever they put their minds to. This is both encouraging and daunting in the search for a career, for it implies that students must be willing to step forward and take the initiative. At the same time, as Greta's valuable advice reminded the students, there are excellent resources at McCombs to assist students as they take this initiative.
