Dodge for a Cause benefits the Inside Books Project, which provides books and educational materials free of charge to inmates in Texas prisons. The large number of teams who competed in the tournament helped make this event a successful fundraiser for the organization.

HBA was integral to the success of the event. While HBA External Affairs helped plan the event behind the scenes with their peers from ALPFA and ABSA, an official HBA team also competed in the event.

Valiant in defeat, the HBA team won their first match but lost the following two. But it was still a great opportunity for the dodge-ballers to come together and represent HBA while getting to bond with some of their BHPeers.
