The Inside Books Project receives letters from inmates in the Texas prison system and, in return, sends them donated books free of charge.

HBA volunteers came in two shifts on Sunday night to respond to the inmates' letters with hand-selected books and a thoughtful note. Each volunteer had the opportunity to answer around 2-3 letters and mingle with many of the other UT volunteers in the room.
